Learn more about our dynamic instructors—all talented writers actively working in their respective fields. All instructors are hired on the basis of their accomplishments— publications, awards, and/or an MFA in creative writing— as well as their love of teaching and ability to inspire students. More than a few are former students who have gone on to great success. Each has made an unique investment in the writing community by teaching at Grub Street, and their time in our workshops is a labor of love.
Grub Street's mission compels us to hire instructors at all stages of their professional development. Some are recent grads from MFA programs; some are working on their second published book; others have multiple books published and have been teaching at universities for years.
